Intro to Packaging Distribution

Differentiate among transportation carriers and distribution modes and assess hazard categories and testing methods used to design resilient packaging systems.

What you will learn

Packaging Distribution will help you gain an understanding of how a transport packaging system is developed and optimized for safe and efficient transportation. The five-hour course includes a module on tests you can use to design packaging systems that can withstand the forces of distribution. This course will help you develop packaging designs that reach consumers and retail settings damage free.

Course Objectives

Explore the challenges and obstacles of the packaging distribution process
Identify the tests that ensure products of all types reach consumers and retail settings without sustaining damages
Review the available methods of distributing products worldwide
Gain an understanding of how a transport packaging system is developed
Choose the proper packaging type based on performance testing standards of the packaging industry
Examine the vital parts of packaging distribution, such as costing, timelines, and spatial requirements
