Corona’s Can Design Stacks Up
HOW MANY BEERS CAN YOU CARRY AT ONCE?
If you’re using Corona’s innovative can design, you can easily stack and carry enough to serve you and 6 to 10 of your friends. Or, I suppose enough cans to ensure a terrible next day for yourself. Whatever the case, you don’t need plastic rings for the cans or even a bag to carry them home (depending on your local open carry laws). The tops of each can interlock with the bottoms, creating a type of hipster beer sword.
This is just one way Grupo Modelo, the makers of Corona, are experimenting to be more earth-friendly with their products. They’ve even toyed with a plastic-free, plant-based biodegradable ring to hold your drinks together.
WHERE CAN YOU GET THESE CANS?
This inventive LEGO-can design isn’t available everywhere yet, so you won’t find it on the shelves of your local beer provider. But, the higher-ups in Grupo Modelo are committed to the environment, so you’ll be able to wave your ginormous staff of beer in the not-too-distant-future. They are so committed to being earth-conscious, that Carlos Ranero, marketing vice-president of Grupo Modelo’s parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev, stated that this can design will be freely available to anyone who wants to use it.
THOUGHTFUL DESIGN INNOVATION
